The Little Flower Stall Woodend

Locally grown, seasonal flowers from an artisan flower grower in the Macedon Ranges

Welcome to the Little Flower Stall Woodend, a seasonal flower farm and florist tucked away in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, just over an hour from Melbourne.

I'm Kylie and I grow the flowers for The Little Flower Stall right here on our property in Woodend.  What started as a love of growing flowers has grown into an artisan flower business built around beautiful, seasonal blooms, a love of the garden and a desire to share what I grow with our local community and visitors.

Rather than flowers travelling hundreds of kilometres before they reach you, my blooms are grown, picked and prepared right here in Woodend.

Visit our Flower Stall in Woodend

When the garden is producing, you'll find our little roadside flower stall stocked with whatever is looking beautiful in the garden that week.

There are no imported flowers here.  Available flowers change with the seasons so every visit to the stall is a little different.

Depending on what's flowering, you might find bunches of freshly picked seasonal flowers, dahlias, garden roses, swaying cosmos, cheerful sunflowers, pretty zinnias, foliage, filler flowers and other beautiful blooms grown right here on the property.

The stall operates seasonally and is only open when there are enough flowers to share, so availability can vary from week to week.  If you're making a special trip, it's always worth checking our latest updates on Instagram and Facebook or getting in touch first.

Flowers grown here in Woodend

I grow a wide range of seasonal flowers, with a particular love for dahlias and the slightly wild, romantic flowers that make a garden-picked bouquet feel so special.

My growing approach is deliberately gentle.  I grow with the pollinators, the seasons and the garden in mind, using minimal intervention and avoiding harsh chemicals wherever possible.

Because the flowers are grown here rather than sourced from a wholesaler, I can grow varieties specifically for their beauty as cut flowers and pick them when they're looking their absolute best.

The result is flower that feel natural, seasonal and a little bit different from the traditional florist bouquet.

Flowers for every occasion

Whether you're looking for a simple bunch to brighten your kitchen bench, flowers to take to a friend, a special celebration bouquet or a bucket of blooms to arrange yourself, I love creating flowers that feel personal and connected to the season and to the giver and receiver.

Fresh seasonal flowers are available for collection from Woodend or local flower delivery, depending on what's flowering and the time of year.

More than just a flower stall

The Little Flower Stall has grown into more than just a roadside stall.

As well as growing flowers for bouquets and local customers, I grow and divide dahlia tubers, with selected varieties available for gardeners and flower growers across Australia (ex. Tas, NT & WA).

I also run small, seasonal flower workshops and garden experiences where you can come into the property, see how the flowers are grown, pick your own blooms and learn how to turn them into a beautiful seasonal bouquet.
